Hmm message=active syn disabled

went to synch this am continuing to get this message. soft reset, restarted laptop. redid connections. same message. HELP. many thanks jack

Unplug the cable/cradle, uninstall activesync, reboot, reinstall activesync and plug the cable in only when it prompts you to during activesync installation. Make sure the axim is connected and on when you plug the cable in to the laptop.

POINT OF CLARIFICATION; YOUR DIRECTIONS UNINSTALL ACTIVESYNC (FROM LAPTOP OR HANDHELD) again thanks for you help. jack

I think he meant your laptop...I don't think that activesync installs to your Axim, it just simply helps your PC recognize your PDA.

Yes, the laptop is what I meant. I don't even think it's possible to uninstall activesync from the Axim.
