no more syncing?

my axim stopped syncing to my computer. my computer doesnt even make that ding sound when it connects. what happened here can somebody help me out why it all of the sudden stopped working?

thanks i just found it myself sorry for repost. btw i reformatted my axim, exchanged batteries, tried syncing to several different computers, formatted my computer once.

That is just CRAZY but I guess you had to try and figure it out on your own too so that's cool...if you don't try then I guess you never learn.
