My Axim totally crapped out

I've had my 300Mhz 32 MB Axim for about a week and it's been working fine. This morning I turn it on and snooze one of my tasks. After that, it's totally locked up so I do a soft reset. To my surprise it became a hard reset where I had to calibrate the screen and go through the short tutorial. To my further surprise, all my data had been wiped. The files on the built-in storage just seem to have disappeared, and on the SanDisk SD card all the folders are renamed with "." (periods) and there's nothing inside them.

Is this a Pocket PC error, or the a dreaded SanDisk error?

Yeah, that's what I figured. I didn't know SanDisk SD were so bad until I had bought mine already and began reading the terrible reviews on this site. I already went ahead and ordered a replacement one from Lexar. This POS is going back to Dell tomorrow
