Problems running programs on WM2003?

Hello all! I know there have been many posts about WM2003, and here's another one. :)

Basically, I have two questions about this version.

It seems like most games are only compatible with 2002, and not 2003. I'm looking for software with games, and other programs to run on my X5, and I'm having a hard time finding ones that will work with 2003.

Also, I have MSN Messenger as well, and it won't connect. It says that the connection failed because it's not compatible with my version. :( But it's installed on the X5, so I don't know why it wouldn't be compatible.

I don't know. I think something's screwy. Today, I tried to connect to PIE with my wireless card, and it ONLY connects while on the cradle. Battery is at full strength, so it's not that. Once I take my X5 off of the cradle, and try to connect to a site, it says "The Page you are looking for cannot be found." Yesterday I connected just fine. No problems at all, and now it won't connect unless it's in the cradle. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. It would be most appreciated! :)

Well there are sites out there that you can get games from like pdamill.com or ppcfreeware.com are a couple. Some of the games are cool and some of them are cheezy...do a search on aximsite for "games" and you should pull a lot of threads where people have asked the same question...where can I get games?

As far as MSN Messenger, you will have to do the WM2003 update which is available on Microsoft's website. I had the same problem you did and I figured out that I had to install the updated version of messenger before it would work.

BTW, welcome to aximsite!

Okay. That sounds good. I was really wondering about that whole MSN Messenger thing. :)

Thank you for the game sites!! :)

I'm still having problems with my wireless card however. I've been in through all my LAN settings, and everything. I AM connected to our wifi network at home here through the X5, but for some reason, it's not finding websites.

Thank you for the great welcome! It's good to be here!

By the way, I love your quote X5X5X5 :)

No problem, glad to have you. I am going to point you in the direction of a few threads that might help answer your questions. These were done by one of the best WiFi guys here on aximsite...his name is Ikehiker and he went through a lot of trouble (not really trouble but put forth a lot of effort) to create these threads to help people so here they are:

http://wifi.aximsite.com/wifi_net.html
http://wifi.aximsite.com/wifi-faq.html

I hope these help and welcome aboard! Let us know if the links worked out for you...I would like to know.
