No Program Memory after sitting idle

Lately, after taking my PPC out of the cradle I get a message stating "No program Memory Available ..." It will not launch anything because it says I have no memory available and directs me to close all apps from the memory manager applet. But it won't even let me lauch that. The thing is - I have no programs running except Activisync!

After a soft reset, I can operate normally. When I check my memory, it says I have 40.4 MB allocated, 7 MB in use and 33 MB free.

On my Today screen I run TdLaunch, Calendar+, Task+ and Journal Bar.

Does anybody have an idea as to why this is happening?

When you have it docked, do you see a lot of continuous activity on the Activesync spinner?
If you have a comm traffic indicator on your taskbar (like Tx-Rx lights) do you see a lot of unexplained activity?

My first guess would be to try disabling Journal Bar and see if it gets better.

Calendar+ or Task+ has a known memory leak.

Yes i had journal bar for a long time untill it expired. So then i deleted it and now i have lots more memory! and every once in awhile i reset the axim and i have lots more memory after the soft reset.

Thanks for all the replies. I have removed Journal Bar so I will see how it goes. I don't have my cradle here at work so we'll see tonight.
