thanks, that worked. man, these rom upgrades are such a pain for me, i wonder why. Everything works fine, the rom update, the backing up, however when i try to resync using my pre rom update device name by creating a new partnership using my pre rom update device name, sometimes it will say device name in use or sometimes it'll let me create a new partnership however after the first sync, all other syncs are done as "guest" automatically even though i have created a partnership with the computer. The only way i could fix this problem was by a hard reset, removing and reinstalling active sync on my computer and then reloading all my programs onto the ax manually. would u happen to know what i might be doing wrong during the rom upgrade? especially towards the end when i want to begin syncing using my pre rom device name? thanks.
