What exactly is this patch for?

How do I apply a patch - I am new to this.

Basically, it enables pushing the D-Pad to get the equivalent of an "Enter" - the same way that you can press the jog thingie on the right side of your Axim to select something.

Take a look at the thread called "Nav Pad/D Pad Patch". It has some information on what you may expect to see when you install. Some have expressed some quirkiness during the install.

Just download the patch fix , it will open up 3 files from there just move them over to the Ax... and then run the cab file. Its takes less than a couple of minutes for the entire process including moving the files.
Then test, my worked the first time. :D
