Waiting for my Axim, and just curious. Is the 300mhz model meeting all your needs? Can someone give me an example of all they are running on theirs and how much memory it's using etc??? I am concerned that I should have went with the 400mhz model. I did purchase a 128mb SD card, and a 128mb CF card.......

I havent received mine yet (300MHz also) but the OS that comes with it is only optimized for a 200MHz CPU so you won't see any difference there. As for the programs, I've read that in some games the 400 runs better. I'm not too worried about it personally, I just spent the extra hundred on a bunch of memory instead of the higher model. :D

I also have the 300, it was a gift from my in-laws this year. I would have sprung for the 400 only because I am that type of geek. However, I am thrilled with the 300 and use it mostly for my scheduling. I run Gigabar and a calendar plus program all the time and have no problems at all. As far as games go I at this point I only run Tiger Woods PGA golf. I will eventually move tiger to a CF card as well as run other games from there just to keep my Ax free. I have no regrets in having the 300.

I've had my 300 for 10 days now and find it adequate for my needs. I use it for appointments, some note taking, contacts and reading e-books. I purchased a 32 meg CF card for music, which I'm hoping to upgrade to a 256 in the near future.

It does what I want and I am satisfied with it.

As for the speed, mine goes from 200 to 300 depending on the usage.
