Egress locks up alot..or is it my PocketPC?

I recently acquired a Dell axim x5 and I thought it would be neat to use it as a portable news reader since I'm such a news junkie. I looked at various rss feed aggregators for the pocketpc on the web and settled on Egress.
What I've noticed is, while caching stuff or even when simply disconnecting the device from its cradle, the whole thing just freezes. I have to do a reset (using the stylus to press that reset button on the left hand side) and it come back up. But what is incredibly annoying is Egress loses all its settings, and even if I import my OPL file I have to go back and set up all the feeds to cache automatically again.
Just seems like this thing is a royal pain in the neck...
I've also noticed that there is no regular Windows based software that works like egress where it automatically caches the web content.
See, typically RSS only gives you headers and includes a link to the actual story. What I want, is something that caches all those linked stories so I can read them while offline.

Well, I have Egress, NewsBreak and PocketRSS. I've never had problems with Egress, although I use NewsBreak as my primary RSS reader as it's clean, simple and fast.

To get extended feed data, you might want to check out PocketRSS. It has such a setting/option, which will allows you to download much more (if not all) of a given story/feed. It's not the default setting, but it's a standard feature. It also integrates well with PocketBreeze if you use that plug-in.
