Are notes deleted from your device if first deleted from outlook??

my notes after a disconnect and deleted in outlook (much like any calendar item) are not deleting from the device after the next sync?? any reason for this??

You should look at your options setting in ActiveSynch for which device is primary. It may be that you have your device set as primary, so it is not erasing on device when erased on the pc.

How do I do that I don't see an option to set any device as a primary device??

Connect your Axim to your PC.
When ActiveSych comes up, let it synchronize if you have it set to automatically synchronize.
When you can (automatic synch sometimes makes this option grey-out until the synch is done), click on the Options icon under the menu bar in Active Synch.
The options icon will open options including a tab that reads "Rules". Click on the "rules" tab. The first thing you should see is Conflict resolution. You can select what you want the computer to do. I leave my desktop on Leave the item unresolved. What then will happen is that it will ask you what to do for each item that is has changes on both the pc and the axim. Neither ends up the "primary" and you can determine what happens. Hopefully this will help the notes issue.

this didn't work. here's the deal; i am syncing with two different comps my device keeps the note on this current computer with outlook 2002 on my device even when i delete it from outlook (WITH MY DEVICE OUT OF THE CRADLE I DELETE IT). when it is in the cradle it will delete from both places just fine. I know this works because my other computer does it and so does every other function in outlook i.e. calendar and contacts. WHAT'S GOIN ON????? it is also saved in main memory so i don't have any idea what the glitch is. once again when i delete a note from outlook on my comp, and then connect my device the note is still on my device PLEASE HELP!!!

Are you using the exact same version of Active Synch on both computers with all the same settings in the options area?

yep the only difference is one has outlook 2001, and the other 2002 (the one that doesn't work correctly)

That might be the problem.

have you used outlook 2002? maybe it is a glitch within outlook 2002, do you think ? because everything else works fine
