Hello,
First time here. Hope I do it right. I dropped my X5 and cracked the glass. It comes on and will sync, but I can't go from function to function with the pointer of by using the buttons...any ideas? Thanks, L. C. Hall

If you decide to repair the screen yourself, you'll need to order a replacement digitizer from PDAParts.com, and set aside at least 2 hours to perform the repair. I would go to PDAParts.com and read the instructions (they have a link) BEFORE ordering, to decide if you can actually do this repair yourself. You don't need much in the way of tools (a small Phillips screwdriver, some double-sided scotch tape and an X-acto knife), but you do need the patience of a saint and the hands of a surgeon to do this yourself. The most difficult part of the replacement procedure involves using an X-acto knife or razor blade to cut the old digitizer off. It is an incredibly slow and difficult process to remove the old digitizer without shattering it, (I spent nearly an hour on just that part of the process!) But it is doable if you have the patience. If you think you can do everything BUT the cutting away of the old digitizer, they do sell complete screen assemblies (LCD and digitizer pre-assembled) as well. But those are $129.99 - at which point you are probably better off just replacing the whole unit.
