green light blinks after shutting unit down
This problem just crept up in the last few weeks. When I push the on/off button on my axim to turn it off the green light begins to blink and eventually runs the battery down. I have twon primary batteries and it has happened on both of them. I have turned the unit back on and checked the battery and it has shown a full charge on the battery meter. If I plug it in at night when the green light is blinking sometimes it will take a charge and sometimes it won't. Sometimes I can get the green light to stop blinking by taking out the memory cards but sometimes not. Has anybody had same problem and found a solution? I would be most greatful for some help. Thank you

that blinking green lite is telling you you have a reminder set and it has come due. go under settings>Sounds and Notifications> and the Notifications tab. hit the dropdown and scroll down to Reminders. on that page is the settings for controling the light. because of this problem I have set mine to uncheck the 'flash for' box and also the 'repeat' box.

I have a similar problem. Even when I shut it off at night, I wake up and the green light is blinking and the PDA is "hot" as if it was running.

yup, same issue, same answer. I don't think that anyone actually knows exactly what happens but for some reason reminders that happen to pop up at night seem to end up killing the battery. try my suggestion above and see if it helps.

No, I followed the directions, when I woke up this morning my battery life was 5%, the green light was blinking, the screen was off, but the axim was "hot"...
Any other ideas what could be causing the axim to "wake up" from suspend mode?

Thanks again
Went in and disabled the appropriate stuff. So far so good. I appreciate the time you took to share the answer to the problem.

neophite back with the same blinking light, I went and checked per BigDaves above instructions but the light continues to blink. The drop down menu has several different things that could cause the light to blink and I made sure none of them were checked to have the light blink. Any other Ideas out there? Thanks in advance!!!
