Man, my processor for some reason doesn't want to get of 400MHz. The Only way it will drop of 400MHz is if I sit and watch the processor page and then it will go down to 200MHz but then if i close it and reopen it really fast its back on 400MHz. I have all the latest drivers like the ROM update and the IR driver. I also preformed a hard reset and didn't restore any of my files and the processor was still jacked up. So, does anybody know what could be making it do this?

it is when all your doing is checking you notes or just changing a contact because thats battery power that i could use later.

Maybe you could download Turbo Tray and run it at 100 MHZ.

If you set it to auto the OS will decide what the best settings is based on requirements. I generally found that anytime you told the Ax to do something it did it at 400, then kicked down to 200 during idle periods.

You could just set it to "PowerSave" which will lock it at 200 Mhz.
