Wont boot.

My Axim will boot once every blue moon but after I turn it off it wont come back up. I have no back up battery. I just bought a new regular battery. I have tried restoring the OS and it restored it but after it was finished it just shut off. Any ideas?

I'm not too familiar with this problem. The first thing I would do is pick up and install a backup battery. Are you running PPC 2002 or Windows Mobile 2003?

Sounds like you have either/both corrupted bootstrap or Start folders. If you have everything backed up to say an SD card, do a hard reset. If that does not work and you do not have critical files in BIS, then pull both main and back-up batteries to restore to factory condition. Failing that, check out post by quovadis7 for use of system diagnostic tool.
