Axim X5 and Sandisk CF WiFi Card - No connect

I have been trying to get my Axim X5 to connect to my wireless network. Here is what I have:

Linksys WRT54G Router running HyperWRT 2.0b4 firmware
Sandisk Connect Plus 128MB WiFi 802.11b CF Card
Dell Axim X5 (ROM A05)Running Microsoft Pocket PC Version 4.20.1081 (Build 13100).

I plug the card in, and follow the wifi guide here (http://wifi.aximsite.com/wifi_net.html) and do everything it says. However, when I go to connect to the network, it will not connect (my router does not see the Axim). Also, under PocketMechanic, it does not show me getting an IP address (just lists 0.0.0.0).

Under vxUtil > I, it shows under adapters:

PRISM1 - Sandisk low power 128MB + WiFi Compact Flash Card
IP Address: 0.0.0.0

Everything else is blank

PRISMDNS1 - Sandisk low power 128MB + WiFi Compact Flash Card
IP Address: 0.0.0.0

Everything else is blank

Under Start > Settings > Connections > Connections >Advanced >Network Card >Sandisk low power 128MB + WiFi when you go in there, Use server-assigned IP Address.. but if you look under the IP Address box, it shows fe80::260:b3ff:fe6. Now I am lost.

The router is set up for DHCP, and I can connec to it with my laptop using it's built in WiFi. The router is set for Mixed Mode (B&G), and MAC Filtering. (I have tried it w/o mac filtering as well)

Now I am lost. Any Help?

The Sandisk combo card really doesn't work with the X5 (a few people with the WM03 software on the Axim were sucessful but many could not get it to work with either OS). I suggest you see if you can replace it with a different CF card.

I bought it off ebay, so I am stuck with it.

I did get it to see the router. (Put the router into B only mode) However, I cant seem to get past the router now.

I have A05 on here. I finally got it to work, only after deleting the DNS server entries in my router, and then locking it into B-Only mode. Sometimes I have to reinsert the card a time or two for it to pickup the connection.

Hmm

Have you checked your AP settings? i run a 3Com LAN 6000 and if Network Traffic Accelerator is on and the Data Preamble is set to short I can't connect either. If there are any setting to enhance the AP speed turn it off.
