Axim says that I only have 3.76megs free on my empty 128meg CF Card

My CF card is acting up. I had a movie occupying pretty much all of the space on my CF Card. When I took the movie off, and tried to add something else, it wouldn't let me(no available space). I can't format the card because I don't have a CF drive, so how do I go about fixing this problem. Somehow, my axim thinks that the card is still occupied even though its empty. I appreciate any help.
