Mad active sync stopped working

it's been few days now, I checked and rechecked all the connection to the USB and still it refuses to sync. What could be the problem? Do you think I have to reinstall the active sync program?
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried soft reset on the Axim?

Further programs installed

Have you installed any programs after your last sync?I couldn't sync anymore after I installed zenokeyboard. After I removed it I could sync perfectly again!

I believe there are quite a few programs that have trouble working together with the sync. So try and look in that direction! Let us know if it's the case and if so, which program it was. Might be helpful for others!!

Regards,
Peter

You may want to check in your memory's "Running Programs" tab in your Axim and see if ActiveSync is still running in the background. if it is,highlight it and Stop it and try to sync again. That was my problem at first, then as Peter has already stated, I had a program problem that interfered with my A.S. and I had to uninstall it, and then there is alway Jake's suggestion of the soft reset. :)

AH HA!!! Well, that worked for now... Hmmmmm... now I will have to try and retry that theory...
Ok, this is what I have learned... when trying to connect, this is what I have to do.
1) Check to make sure ActiveSync is NOT running on the axim.
2) Turn the Axim OFF.
3)Plug the USB cable in to the Axim
4)Type in my password on the Axim and/or PC prompt
5)Normally, successfully connects...

It's still quirky... I lose the connection in midstream and have to start all over. I have it set to be a continuous connection, I've tried the other type of synching too.

I KNOW I wasn't doing this before... I haven't added anything except a CF Card for memory.... I did delete a program that when trying to boot it told me it was not compatible.... It was supposed to be compatible, but obviously it is not...

If anyone stumbles across more help.. let me know!!
