Hi,
I've a question.
Is it possible to ROM-upgrade an Axim with a different language ROM?
I have an english Axim and i'd like to upgrade with the italian ROM..
I've seen two posts by people that tried going from French to English and trashed their Axims (they will no longer turn on, thus they cannot connect by ActiveSync to even try to revert back), so I wouldn't recommend it.

DON'T DO IT is my only advice. They told me at the support line that some hardware componants are specific to the language they were initially meant for.
But I still can't understand why they couldn't take my Axim back to the factory and re-load it the same way they did when it was built...
I changed my regional settings to Japanese (a particular input system that I use installed the files) and things BASICALLY work fine. The only thing to watch out for is that if you totally trash your axim somehow, it won't restore from a backup that was made with non-US regional settings (whoops). So if you can figure out a way to make it work, dont' worry so much; just make sure that you make your backup with the original regional settings selected.
