CF confusion, laptop won't read files
Please help me, I have three CF cards, all Lexar that I have used with no problem. All of a sudden, two of the three cannot be read by my laptop. It doesn't recognise them. When I put them in my axim, I see a file "ignore_my_d.... Is this my problem? How do I get rid of this file (won't delete).If I need to reformat my CF card how do I do it? My laptop will not recognise it.
Thanks in advance | |||

"ignore_my_docs" is a file that is created by the operating system when you save a file to the card and there is no folder named "My Documents" there. You can safely delete it, but unless you create a "My Documents" folder, it will reappear the next time you try to save a document to that card. The file is a system/read-only file, so you will have to use activesync>explore to find it and delete it.
I don't think the file has anything to do with the problems you are having reading the cards on the laptop, however. | |||||
