Buttons not working
Yesterday, for some reason I lost some of the items in my start menu, as well, I found that pushing the record, calendar, contact, mail, and home buttons returns an error of missing shortcut. I did a soft reset, no change. When I go into settings, buttons, and look at the assignments, Button 1 says calendar, 2 and 3 are blank, Button 4 says home, and record is blank, however, none of them work without giving me the error. Also, the restore defaults is grayed out. Any ideas on how to re-enable the defaults? Thanks.

Sounds like either something is seriously hosed, or there is a hardware problem. If you call Dell, they'll probably recommend a hard reset. It's not a bad "net step".

The world may not be perfect yet, but the Axim is (almost).
