Does anybody else have problems with their digitizer?

sometimes, randomly, my digitizer will start going all over the place, i.e. pressing the start menu brings up the new documents menu, and essentially leave it useless till it decides to start working again.

i've tried many soft resets, a few hard resets and the problem still seems to coming back. i dont use a screen protector and ive cleaned the edges of the screen so i dont think its dust. since ive tried almost every software fix i could think of, i think it may be a hardware problem. i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if they got a replacement or figured a way to fix it. thanks ahead of time

also, sometimes in bright light i can see the dots of what appears to be the digitizer and there is a slight creak when pressing on the screen while wiping it, dunno if thats normal or not so im just making sure

I am also having an identical problem. It just started a couple days ago. Sometimes when I click the start button the "new" menu opens. I am using Icbar and sometimes when I have a window open and try to close using the "x" the input panel opens at the bottom of the screen as if i tapped the input panel button. Only thing I can do at that point is to wait a minute or so until the normal digitizer response resumes. I have tried a soft reset. I have tried the alignment tool. I have done a hard reset and restore from a backup. This has not fixed the problem. My next step is going to be to hard reset and reinstall apps one by one. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You have a warenty on the Axim, call dell, get a replacement
