ok i am madlest startwith the activesync

1.half the time it diesnt connect
2. when i touch anything on my axim screen while connected i desconect

ok now the cf card. i got a 256mb viking cf card and every once and a while when i turn on the axim a screen will give me an unreckognised card error screen. Now this is the weird part, depending on the order that i press ok or cancel, take out/put back in card,turn on/turn off axim i get one of two things, either everything is back to normal and i can use my card again, or a message asking me to format my card, which i will not do

is this common or am i going to have too send stuff back?
an suggestions?

this has happened at least 7 times since i got the axim last tuesday
