Hi, I have a question for Axim experts out there .. I tried to use Ultramote (remote controller software) to IR to my TV. However, the software prompted a message saying that there is no response.

Is there any way to test whether IR is working on my Axim Advanced ? Thanks all.

Yeah, you can send some info to another ir product.

I think there's a function in the remote program wich lets you customize the signal, for ex.: turn the function and and point your normal remote to it so it will know what your tv uses. Did it promt you with the error when doing this because that would mean your remote control is faulty and not your ir.

But there's a big change your ir is broken, the ir on the axim sucks.

Thanx wannahave for your reply. Haven't had much time to play around with the IR yet. Will try your suggestion and see whether it works.

Ultramote has a 'learning' mode which I am trying to see whether it works. So far, no success. Anyone else is using Ultramote ?
