Mad Damn battery/case !?!?!

Alright, since I havent got yet the Krusell case, I'm carrying around the Axim in the Dell case. However, the way this case is "designed" (if someone did actually design this thing ) is perfect for pressing the "ON" button and turning on the Axim while in its case..........

So, instead of leaving it on the cradle last night, I left the Axim in its case. Today, I try to turn it on, and nothing!!!!!!!! Doesnt even turn on

I'm guessing the battery was totally drained..........I'm NEVER carrying the Axim in the Dell case. Its a disaster.......

I only hope that I havent lost all my data as well......

For me, and for those of you with the same problem, the following utility is priceless:

And its donate-ware, so every little bit that you can donate, can be considered as a saving from your battery life

One point about the Dell case turning on the Axim: in the two days I used the case before getting something better (which is anything), I discovered it was actually pressure on the bottom program buttons that was turning it on (not the main power button). It’s easy to disable the lower buttons (Settings, System, Power, Control – uncheck the “Turn on device if…” box).

I had already disabled buttons turning on the Axim, and still........I ended up in Failsafe mode

Anyway, I've got the Krusell case now, so the Dell axim can bite my a$$......

I'd also make sure your alarms aren't set such that they keep your axim on all the time. I use the standard case with a wireless cf card in the pocket behind my axim, and it has never had the adverse affect of turning my axim on.
