Hmm Dell Axim Case Replacement

Hi,

Although the Dell Axim case as supplied is not perfect, I do like the fact that I can store a spare battery in it using the inbuilt pocket without it rubbing up against the Axim. Does anybody know of a better case that allows the storage of a spare battery and maybe some memory cards (CF or SD) as well.... for me, carrying a spare battery while I am on business is key.....Thanks for any input here :-)

Note: size of case not too important but all larger cases fall short if they are designed for carrying accessories as well but not a spare battery.....much more important than credit cards that I wouldn't dream of putting in this type of case as I would like to get them out a lot less often......

I dont think there are any cases that specifically have a spare battery spot. however, you can try checking into these cases --you can put the spare batt in a pocket in that:

Also check out this link for a thread that has a quick lookup for lots of cases that will fit the Axim:

I personally chose the vaja case (hoping to get it soon--i'm anxious) cuz of the quality, and I have a fairly large purse to put the rest of the stuff.

As for the Dell case, cut out the thing to put the axim in and use it to store your keyboard, screen protectors and cf cards that have adaptors on them (modem, IR extender, SM-CF adaptor, etc). Its a tight fit, but it works great.

Check out Grinder Gear's BaseCamp. I have one that I use when I am away from home. It holds my Ax, 3400 battery, extra screen protector, extra stylus, CF and SD card and probably more if I wanted it to . It has a clip so you can attach it to your belt, if you like.
