I have just submitted a service request for my Axim...

After having my Axim for 3 months I updated to the new ROM 3 and I started to acutally use the D-Pad...I discovered a problem that a lot of others are having...The pad doesn't work so great...Up, down, left, and center down are just fine but when I push right it feels mushy and gets confused with center down...

The question is this...In Dell's response they are sending me a 'replacement base' today...does this mean a whole new Axim or a new case and I have to replace the guts it myself? If I do have to replace it myself would this void the warranty because I took it apart?

I have researched the question in the Forum (and have noticed many D-Pad problems) but haven't found a thread that specifically answers the base replacement question...

Come to Spain on vacation! It's beautiful, cheap (cheapest place in Europe) and the food is great! :D

Dell would send you a complete Axim. They don't part them out....
