Mad Battery looses charge even when switched off

This may sound dumb, but I recently linked my Axim into my wireless network. Major problems which I finally resolved. Since then my main battery looses charge quite quickly even when it switched off. I have disabled the wireless setting in power managment but that does nothing to improve life. is anyone else having battery drain even when switched off

How old is the battery? It could be dying. There are original Dell batteries on Ebay for $1.99. You could get one to see if your problem is the battery or something else.

Hmm

Thanks, I had thought the same and have just ordered a new battery through eBay. I had nevered noticed it loose carge before when off, just after I had to reformat and rebuild from back up file.

Sometimes leaving Activesync running can really drain a battery

I just ordered 3 OEM 1400mah batteries (NEW!) from eBay for $12.00 (including shipping). I guess my X5 will live a while longer :D
