Question I cant even do a hard reset!

ok i'm really confused now. i hold down the reset button for 3 to 5 seconds like the tutorial says and nothing happens. I tried holding it longer maybe 30 sseconds and still nothing. Anyone have any ideas? I have backed up what i need just want a fresh start. having some ongoing issues with the wireless end of things. i removed all extras sd and cf stuff before trying the hard reset but no luck. please help

You have to hold both the soft reset button (with the stylus) AND the power button at the same time. Then you'll get a screen asking if you are sure and to press the second program button if you want to proceed.

Do you have a screen protector on. Ive seen where the protector is pushing just enough that it doesnt registrar all the taps on the aligment page.

Hey reversenext,

Sorry I left you hanging. I made the first post during my lunch break and must have signed off about the same time you posted your last message. Was wildcat's suggestion helpful?

If you don't have a protector involved, and still haven't gotten past the alignment page, I suggest trying a soft reset and, if that doesn't work, then another hard reset.
