Just so all of you that are interested will know. If you wash the Netgear MA701 in the clothes washing machine, it will work for a few days but then it will fail.

Possibly if I had used the delicate cycle and cool water it may have survived.

I tried this, by accident of course, and I was amazed to find that it did work. Sadly a few days later, it failed and never worked again. Purchased and received my replacement card yesterday.

Lesson learned: Be careful about storing spare cards in your shirt pocket. Problem could be solved if WiFi was built in.

Thank you for that, crack me up. But the warning is serious enough those. It could happen.

I have a simpletech 64mb cf that survived a wash, but it had 3 dryer cycles. It might have gotten more time in the dryer, but I finally figured out I lost it.
