i can't remove mp3's from my documents or active sync. get error message says "Cannot Delete_filex_Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write protected & the file is not in use." tried tech support, no help, tried to do hard reset... it did not work! help please!
PS why won't my pc hard reset?

dude...had the same prob..but i figured it out
it's the freakin windows media that keeps the file "running" does the same thing in xp
just soft reset your device "lil button pressed with stylus RIGHT UNDER the record button...
that simple
then
locate the file in file explorer..
and kill it dead
(tap and hold and tap delete)

soft reset just eliminates the power getting to the inner components or what ever and kills lock ups... and ...deletes mp3s lol... :D

The first week I had my unit, I was pressing the "record" button on the side instead of the reset. The reset button is the little dimple next to the rec button.
Make sure your media player is closed instead of minimized, and then delete the files.
