Similar problems here, however what I did was went to "System Restore" restored back to a time when the problem did not exist. After installing, MSN Messenger 6, ZoneAlarm 3.7, and a patch for MSN Messenger 6 the problems started. After going to a restore point prior to the installations my Ax is working just fine with ActiveSync 3.7 and ROM 03 update as it did before.

Has anyone else installed one or more of the above programs before the problems started? Personally I suspect ZA as it has caused problems in the past........

:D

I have ROM A03 as well, and I am not running ZoneAlarm - so I doubt that this is it.

I've got the exact same problem. Using AS 3.7 and ROM A03. This is occurring both at home and at work. I am tempted to do a hard reset and see if that fixes it. Downgrading to AS 3.6 at work did no good. I've only manage to synch once at work out of 20 attempts. Deleting the partnernship managed to make it work once. I tried numerous soft resets and reboots of the work computer. Interestingly, I hadn't experienced the constant activesync problems prior to updating MSN messenger on my home desktop, though I had also installed some PocketPC apps around the same time (animated today, flash player, battery monitor, and StopTime 2.0).

If anyone has any other tips, i'd love to hear them. I've been using PocketPC's for the past 3 years so i've troubleshooted the activesync problems pretty thoroughly without avail. Thanks :)

downgrading to 3.6 seems to have done the trick for me.....haven't had any major errors.

Well, a hard reset fixed the problem completely. FWIW, I have problems with the idea of doing a rom update and then restoring a full restore of a previously backed up image. From now on, I am going to follow a rom update with a complete reinstall of all the apps and create a new partnership. It's a hassle but less of a hassle than tracking down these bugs. ;)
