I am currently using ActiveSync 3.7.......every so often, I will boot up my machine and ActiveSync will look as though it's connecting (via the USB cradle). All the sudden, it will say that it is Connected, but below that it says "Synchronization Error." So, I usually have to turn my Ax on & off or take it out of its' cradle and put it back in or something along those lines to get it to sync correctly. Weird that it is connecting, but not syncing......anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I am not getting any additional error messages (that I see).
I wasn't having any problems with version 3.5 so I never bothered with the updates on ActiveSync--in some cases (not all), it's better to stick with the what the Axim was tested with. I suppose if I ever run into a situation where the update becomes necessary, I'll do it. But, only if I have to :)
I installed 3.7 and it worked for a couple of days and then stopped working. I uninstalled and reinstalled and did this and that to try and get to work to no avail. But, there was nothing wrong with 3.6, and with everything else I have been reading about 3.7, I am sticking with 3.6 and then wait for the 3.7a update since so many people are having problems with it.
I'm having the same problems. It started after updating to ROM A03. I'm still using ActiveSync 3.5 so I'll try updating that. I will connect for just a few seconds and then it loses connection and will not install pending software. Are there any other options to AvtiveSync for installing software?
Same here after I installed AS3.7....put up with it a few times, uninstalled 3.7, reinstalled 3.6......no more problems.....I did email MS about it so they know.....hopefully, they'll fix!

I also have not done the ROM upgrade. Haven't really read any reasons that I need to. If it ain't broke....
And I'm usually the first to update my systems with the latest and greatest updates. I didn't have the desire to completely wipe my entire (working perfectly well) PDA for some ROM update.
