Mad My Axim Is Confused And Very Ill

Well what a bad day!!, poor old ax has decided to start behaving in a very confused manner, started with a lock up, then after a soft reset it has started taking about 5 seconds to respond to any input, decided to do a hard reset and still no improvement, to add insult to injury the restore back up file will not work!!!, I mean how bad is this!!!, not happy!
I will now enter the murky world of Dell support in the morning, i am so dissapointed, thought it would not happen to me, wish me luck!
I am now going to lock myself away in a dark room to calm down!!!!

As strange as this may sound try this. Take both the MAIN and the BACKUP batteries out for 5 mins and then reinstall and see if that helps. Doing a hard reset clears and reloads most of everything but some file systems do still lay around.

How does the program memory allocation look?
You'd expect only about 4 - 6 mb in use with no applications open.

Regret to inform that poor ax is going back to the place whence it came, i endured a few phone calls and convinced them that the illness was terminal!, I have a new ax arriving tomorrow (touch wood) I am in the process of saying a tearful farewell as i speak, goodbye cruel world!
I will never again sin on a sunday!
