Activesync problems stays on guest

I have been using my Axim for three months with no problem synching until last week. It looks as though it wants to sync, it does connect and goes right to Guest. If I delete the user and install again it will sync however if I shut the computer or loose the connection I loose the sync and all I getis guest.
Please help I have no clue what to do.

Have you tried a soft reset? That usually fixes most activesync issues.

Try using a different USB port is that doesn't help.

I've been having the same problem - where the Ax is only recognised as a guest even though I have a partnership set up. Soft resetting helps in the short term, but is there any reason for this to keep happening?

Check out this ActiveSync Troubleshooting Guide by Chris De Herrera, especially the section on connecting as Guest. My recommendation is that you try the reinstall/repair of IE6.0 as described in item 4.
