Especially when working 18 hour days...one tends to get stressed...he's honestly jealous of my pocket pc....because he's a die-hard palm lover...

Did you have to return the axim to Dell? I would have started pulling parts off before I cut it in half... like the battery.

I already purchased a new one today and got complete care...It even shipped today...I just thought everyone would get a kick out of the picture...I didn't even attempt to see if Dell would fix it...to me that would have been a hasle...you all know how Dell customer support run-around can be...enough said...

One of my friends and I were just talking about the story I could have made up about how this happened...

#1: "I was at the construction site of my new house...I was checking the progress of the upstairs...when all of a sudden...my axim fell three stories...hit a circular saw...turn it on and was sliced in half...No really Mr. Dell Support person...that's how it happened.."

#2: "It was cut in half from the jaws of life...I couldn't help the accident...she swerved in front of me...I was lucky to get pried from the reckage...No really Mr. Dell Support person...and for the last time...I don't have a head injury..."

Working at Circuit City a while back, I saw something similar in LOOKS to the picture, except with a Big Screen TV! :)

A guy lived WAY out, and refused to pay $30 for us to deliver the TV. So he went and got his friend's truck and we loaded it up for him. *All the while, his wife is saying "Honey, don't you think it would be easier to let them bring it out for us."* Also, to try and convince him myself I said, "It's really worth the $30. If we take it out there for you and it falls or anything, we have to give you another TV. If you haul it home and it falls, then our insurance can't cover it." His reply was, "It's not that big." *Remember I live in Alabama.* :)

Anyhow, to cut the story short. We get a trembly-voice call about an hour later on the phone asking us to come out to his house. Get out there and see he was backing it up to the rear entrance. There was an OVERHANG near the door that he didn't bother to measure. It was about 1 foot too short of clearing the TV. The TV is in a HUGE box, but the overhang managed to SAW right through the ENTIRE TV. It was the cleanest cut I've seen from an accident like that. Looked like someone literally took a rotary saw to it. Craziest thing I've EVER seen. :)

Now, I'd really hate to be in his shoes about then. $2,500 TV + warning from me + warning from WIFE = ONE ANGRY WIFE who will NEVER, EVER let you live this down!! :D
