Having difficulty synchronizing time....

Ok I admit that this is probably going to be a stupid soluton. The Axim is my first Pocket PC so I'm just learning. For some reason I'm having difficulty synching time on my Axim and my desktop. Every time I reestablish a connection between XP and the Axim using ActiveSync, the system clock on the handheld jumps up an hour. This proceeds tp move all of my appointments, etc. up one hour. What is the solution to this? I have already attempted to manaually adjust the clock in the BIOS on my system, was a waste of time. And I have both devices set to eastern standard time.

Double check the timezones again. Make sure both are set to the GMT -5 setting. The clock syncs on GMT and then the device calculates the local time. If one or the other isn't set right they will end up an hour apart. If the timezones are matching, make sure both are set for Daylight Savings Time. It's most likely going to be one of those items.
