Question This has probably been covered, but I really need an answer.

Please help me out here guys.

What's the Max SD and Max CF the Axim can take?

I searched here and Googled it up and couldn't find anything. :(

They can take whatever you can throw at them. I don't think there is a max capasity. With the constant increase in the capasity of cards (I think CF is up to 6 gig) it would be pretty limiting to have a maximum size.

Sir. That is hilarous. I guess I should get used to it though. I am going to graduate college in Dec., and start teaching high school. Glad that is good news. I with I had enough money for me to be worried about if the highest capasity cards would be useable in my Ax!

HOLY SHEEP S#%T. 6 gig? No. I think I'll be good with a 512 Meg card. Just wondering if there were limitations.

As for the cash, I don't have boatloads of cash. But, I DO work at Best Buy, so, ya know, with that there discount, they aren't quite as expensive.

Thanx again for the info.

If I can make my 500EUR Archos work with the Axim, I'll have a 20GB "memory card" for the price of the USB Host adaptor card ;)

Do you experience any slow downs with your 1GB card? I had a 1GB micro-drive in mine and it brought the PPC to a crawl. I didn't know if it was the physical limitations of the drive or if it was an indexing problem with the PPC.
