Worried axim for a old pentinum system, can it work

My problem is with the activesycn software. i CAN DOWNLOAD IT FINE INTO MY COMPUTER BUT WHEN I SELECT SETUP IT JUST LIES THERE.

i HAVE A 166MHZ SYSTEM WITH 32MB OF MEM AND A 10 GIG HARDRIVE

pLEASE HELP, IT SEEMS LIKE THIS HAS TURNED INTO THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION

Hmm I will look around for you, sure it just isn't a corrupt file? what OS do you have, win 95? Win 95 isn't a supported OS for active synch so this could be your problem

Check in 'CONTROL PANEL' and in devices/hardware that something does not have a yellow exclamation point. Sounds like there is some resource conflict.

I think only the 98 se is supported but I could be wrong

Yes, only 98 SE is supported. So if it is just plain old 98, then you'll need to upgrade. This is because USB was not supported until Win98SE.

Actually, there is a patch to get USB support in 98, but its not integrated, and just adds another layer on the bloated OS Flakey at best...
