I have a Dell Axim X5, used, and I've had it about a year.
Lots of personal info, notes, contacts, calendar items, etc.
Recently, the Axim has just locked up, no matter where I click with the stylus, it doesn't do anything.
If I do a cold reboot, then it works for a while, sometimes hours, sometimes days, but has locked up again at least four more times.
I'm getting tired of cold rebooting and then resyncing everything.
Any ideas on what is wrong and please don't tell me I need a new PDA.
Can't afford one at this time and I really need this one.

My AXim 5 locked up too and the problems was the screen protector got under the face some how and I could not navigate at all.
My solution was to take of the screen protector, maybe this will work for you too.

Go into your Settings - System tab and check how much Memory you have. If your Program memory is too low, it's time to move reinstall programs to memory card. Also, if you do any surfing, clean out cookies, history, temp files, etc. by going into Tools.

How full is the memory? Do you use it for web browsing? Every page you visit with Explorer gets saved in history which ends up eating a lot of memory and causing trouble.
