Usual Battery life??

I am sure this has been done before but either way I need to mention how IMPRESSED I am with the Axim Battery life... OMG i have had it on IR sync almost all day, I have used it, and sync and over and sync all day long and I still have 75% after 8 hours... its unreal and makes me so damn happy i got an Axim and not other PDA...

With my old Visor batteries would drain like water with I used the IR to sync... this takes it no problems...

That is great! Did you do that with the backlight on or off? If it was on, try doing every thing you did today but with the backlight off(dimmed) and check out how much power you may have left. There may be only a slight difference. :)

battery dimmed after 3 minutes of use, full brightness(cant stand dimmed screens) when in use... actually I got an extra battery and now I am thinking I dont need it. Makes me mad that I already have the other battery on the charger... had I not done the first charge it would last longer... oh well... still happy to have this puppy!

PROS
GPS(iTrek) rocks
Battery rocks
its fast
it has a nice screen
its nice looking
its not too big

CONS
too bad I got the Dell Wireless card (its useless for me after 10 feet)

Actually, LI-ION batteries like to be charged, so charging the spare was a good thing. Leave it in the cradle all the time, it won't hurt the battery one bit. The cradle will trickle charge it and keep it topped off. Deep discharges on LI-ION actually decrease the battery life.

Extra batteries are especially useful when travelling. I also have been impressed with the battery life of my Ax.
