SparkLAN WiFi Card - Power On/OFF problem

Hi,
i've recently installed a SparkLAN WCFM-100 WiFi CF card in my X5. The card itself works fine but I now have power on/off problems.

On occassion the power off button doesn't work and the only way to power off the PDA is to wait for the inactivity timer to power off the PDA or to do a hard reset. Biggest problem though is when trying to power on the PDA.

About 1 time in 10 the power on button will work but when it does the WiFi card won't connect to the wireless network. 9 times out of 10 the only way to get the PDA to switch back on is to do a hard reset.

I've sent a couple of emails to SparkLAN without a reply and can't find anyhting on their web site about this problem. Does anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Brad

Yeah, this happens for me as well, however it usually only happens when the pda goes inactive WHILE the card is in and currently functioning. I don't know what exactly causes this but I never have to Hard Reset. Usually just a soft reset will do. What OS are you running?

Go to This link (http://www.sparklan.com/download.php?support_id=13&ranload=1169514405)
Try reinstalling the driver if you already haven't and look through the suggestions in the troubleshooting guide in the manual. If none of these help you maybe someone else can.

Hope this helps,
