Well, I think my x5's backlight has finally given up the ghost, today I have to run it at the 3rd notch on brightness, or else it's not comfortable to use. I have tried a hard reset, and it did not fix the problem, so I think my backlight's toast. So, I guess my beloved old axim x5 is gone. It's been a great device, and I have loved it just as much as my x50v. :cheers: to my old axim, it's been an awesome device, I just don't know if I've got the money to repair it. It has been getting slightly darker for a while, thought it was just me, but I guess it's not.

Yes, indeed it was a great device, and it seemed better built physically than my x50v or the Treo
