Question Wierd Behaviour

Hi everyone,
I am not sure whether any of you have experience this before but here goes..
When I put my Axim in the cradle and leave it there the its screen goes dim after the specified period of time I defined in the power settings [nothing unusual there rite?] after that however if I tap the stylus on the screen to wake the sleeping baby up the screen still remains dim. :crooked:
Any one with thoughts and insights to this???

I've just tried changing my settings - you probably need to check the tick box underneath the dim if device is idle>the second tick box is marked"light the display if a button is pressed or screen tapped" - this needs to be ticked otherwise you get what you described;)

D'oh stupid of me.. I'd adjusted the settings for "Battery Power" but not for "External Power". Good gawd I feel like an ass :P

Thanks to both bernie_rubber and wannahave for your help and for your warm welcome to the forum!

That's how we all learn. That's what the site is all about.
