Where can I purchase serial sync cable?

I need the serial sync cable...I'm going to be trying to modify a Radioshack GPS unit that is made for the iPaq 3600 and 3800 series, and also some palm models. I'm just going to use the serial cable, null model adapter, and gender changer and it should work fine. I need to find a serial cable somewhere, unless its possible to use those iPaq model cables? Thanks a ton!

The iPaq cables won't work on the Axim - it has a unique bottom port configuration. If you cannot find it on eBay, in the U.S., you have to call Dell for the serial cable - part no. 310-3474 (it's not listed on the web page). I tried it once and got so frustrated with the Dell phone system that I gave up and swore I will never place a call to them again for any reason, so good luck.

Mad Yeah, Dell's phone system sucks

Yeah, My LCD broke within my first 30 days, and it only fell from a 2 ft drop in its padded case onto a padded carpet. The digitzer slid into the corner and cracked. I think it was defective, unless all the axims were made that bad. Right now my beloved PDA is at PocketPCTechs.com getting repaired. I'll write up a small article about the repair after I receive it back. But I spent over 4 hours on the phone with Dell and never got anywhere other than a few people who dont' speak english well trying to tell me they can't do the repair, don't offer parts, and that my best option was to buy a brand new one at the 400 price at that time.

Thanks for the help on finding a serial cable.
