low battery warning

I use the Axim as a GPS moving map and leave it in the car full time. I push the POWER button to turn it off each evening. The next morning, I get a Low Battery Warning. Does pushing the POWER button really turn the thing off?

power drain when you set the axim into sleep mode by pushing the power button is negligible. the axim can last for weeks, maybe months in that state. you should not be losing power.

are you sure you don't have any programs or anything in the axim that makes it wake up out of sleep mode? it might also be a good idea to take the GPS card out of the axim when you turn it off.

there might be another explanation but i cant think of anything right now...its also possible you have a bad battery or something.

The GPS is probably drawing some power, but even if it didn't just charge it every night.
