My ax sounds like its crying out for help, its probably a sound or two above dog whistle. What happened, what should I do? Its really annoying, but not half as annoying as playing the hangup transfer game with Dell. Is this something that needs to be replaced? Like a first time parent with a child running their first fever, I AM FREAKING OUT! Please tell me this isn't a big deal and there is a simple solution...

lots of people have this problem with their axim. luckily I have not had this problem.

Believe one of the problems was with having the screen set to too high of a brightness. try setting it lower. not sure what everyone fix was though.

try searching the forums for hissing, humming, noise, buzzing. I remember seeing tons of threads on same issue, maybe someone posted a cause and a fix.

I am on my sixth last one was brand new with new chip. All have had this problem. Screen setting does not change sound.

I won't buy from dell again.
