Mad Help! Axim going nuts!!

Help! My axim battery drained low and I got the low battery warning, so I tried recharging it. The screen came on and started blinking real fast between the password prompt and low battery warning message. Now, the password prompt keeps refreshing very quickly and I can't enter the password. It won't let me do a reset. What's going on and what should I do?? Thanks.

Try holding down the reset button as hard as you can until it blanks out. If that doesn't work. You may have to do a hard reset.

Okay, that worked!! Thanks so much. I regret to admit, this axim owner did ridiculously stupid. But, my wonderful axim appears to be very forgiving.
