Lexar SD Card Problems

I just got a Lexar 256MB SD Card and it seems screwed. It worked fine for about 2 hours then all of a sudden the "Do you want to format" crap. I said yes but I get the error "An error occurred while formatting the SD Card folder (error code 0).

I've tried Flash Format and Storage Tools but they don't "See" the card when it's inserted.

as anyone seen this before? I think the card is screwed.

call lexar and tell them to give you a card that was made in Japan. they know about the issues with their non-Japan cards in the axim, and according to happycheesecake they've kept a special stash of Japan cards just for those axim users who wind up with bad non-Japan cards.

make sure they know that they have to look at the back of the card itself in order to tell where it was made--they have a bad habit of packaging all of their cards in "Made in Japan" packaging.

the odds of an SD card made in Japan failing on you are astronomically small (although it has happened once or twice), so do whatever the heck you want with it when you get it.
