Sandisk CF card problem...

Just so you know, I've just bought a 128MB Sandisk CF card. This card works perfectly with my PC card reader, with my digital camera (Kodak), and of course gets completely crazy when I try to use it on my Axim... I tried formatting it with Storage Tools (no result, and strange errors in Storage Tools), formatting it with the PC, transferring files to it with my PC card reader (works fine until I try putting the card in the Axim and access said files), transferring files to it through ActiveSync (crashes Active Sync)... So the card is now in my digital camera (waste of space as my camera is only 1.3MP)...

Again, the card works perfectly when used with the camera or with the PC card reader (until I put it in the Axim, that is). So I guess the problem is once again with the Axim. And it's starting to really bother me, as I bought this PDA for its expendability... :(

Anyone has similar problems with CF cards (from Sandisk or other manufacturers) or fixes ?

CorwinB, if you have warranty, I would suggest returning the card and buy another brand as an option.

I got a standard exchange from the shop for another Sandisk (in case the first one was faulty) (they can only do a standard exchange or refund the money). Guess what, the second one exhibits exactly the same behavior. So either there is a problem with Sandisk CF cards (I'm not convinced, considering the card works fine in my PC card reader and in my digital camera), or the Axim is as bad for CF cards as it is for SD cards...

I'll have a last try with another brand of CF cards, and then it's goodbye Axim, I'll move to Toshiba, Asus or Compaq.
