Thanks for caring. LOL! I requested that my account be deleted or that I be banned. You should probably bring that up with Deftech or CageyJames. Did you have something constructive to add to my initial post in this thread or did you not read my previous post? :crooked:

Actually, I did respond to your original post. It was the first response from anyone. Thanks for noticing.

Shrink,

If you really want to get banned... open a paypal account and have people send you money so you can buy another axim to replace the one you fried.

Then start posting pretending to be your mother.

Oh, classic moments on aximsite.com

I'm so glad I'm off for the summer so I can enjoy this soap opera!

LOL - I apologize. However, I took offense to your statement. I have no qualms with any of the standards that the mods uphold and am well aware of what mods do - I moderate a few other forums myself. Everything I have done and said has been in deference to their choices. What I don't condone is being called a thief in once case and then having deftech break into this thread in the manner he did. That was not moderating but judgement passing.

Again, thanks for your initial comments. :-)

I really don't care if he is banned or not. I'd just like him to grow up.

Why don't you add idiot to the list now?

<shudder>

I am actually not trying to get banned - I asked that my account be deleted or that I be banned. I am trying to clean up the last few bits and pieces of threads here. Cya!

thief n : a criminal who takes property belonging to someone else with the intention of keeping it (From dictionary.com)

Hmm, let's see, you downloaded software (property) from Dell (the "someone else" in this case) that was for someone who already has a 2003 system (you didn't), you didn't pay for it (thereby "taking" it), you hacked it to install it on a system the vendor didn't intend it for and you now claim you were just doing it for "curiosity." So, do I take it that either:

1. You had paid Dell for the software, or
2. You were planning to remove it after it successfully installed and your curiosity was satisfied?

Because if you don't answer one of them "yes," then by the definition, you are a thief. That conclusion may not be comfortable for you, but there it is. In some cases, even answering "yes" is not a valid defense. "Your Honor, I was planning to return it, honest" is not a valid defense for a theft.

The point here is that Chris has opened this site to the public and asked specifically that we not share serials, hacks or other bypasses of legitimate software. When you, or anyone, comes here it is with that understanding. Chris has been very vocal about that principle. It's his board, all he and the mods ask is that people honor that principle.
